rag trade happy clothing co. review + news

rag trade is miami's first, beloved, and only clothing exchange and boutique. it's totally fab. brilliant concept. i love that it's super eco-conscience and super funky. hell, even the price tags are recycled. nice.

located in a bit of a random location (aka a 2nd story apartment) in buena vista east, just north of the design district. but it's a great little place that has everything from clothing exchanges to vintage stuff to local designers and they even host kraftworks and guerrilla gardening. rag trade has earned the pair of new times awards they received in 2007.

ok, so now onto the news...

#1... %50 off everything sale. everything. clothing, accessories, furniture, art...whatever.

#2... rag trade is for sale. i guess the owner (stephanie) is moving away and needs to sell. but she created a great place and it should stick around... so, someone please buy it! god, i wish i had money.
